Leedo, founded in 1971 by Leon and Doris Levinthal and based in East Bernard, TX, began as a supplier to Houston’s booming apartment construction market. Leedo produces more than 400,000 cabinets per year and more than 100 miles of countertops in their three factories. Over 40 years ago, Plain & Fancy founder, John Achey, had a hobby of cabinet making – handcrafted, hand rubbed, extraordinarily handsome cabinets. Then the Achey family began building cabinetry in their Richland, PA garage and one of America’s most sought after custom cabinetry brands was born. National Forest Products, LTD, founded in Forest County, PA nearly 28 years ago, is a firm that produces countertops and other components for manufacturers in the cabinet industry. In 1994, National Forest Products purchased the assets of International Kitchens, LTD and began manufacturing complete kitchens. As the demand increased for Premio quality custom cabinetry by National Forest Products, a new facility was constructed and is currently in operation.
